We offer full interior design services, including concept and mood boards, 2D floor plans and technical drawings, material and finish specification, furniture layout, and photorealistic 3D renders. We also offer turnkey project management, where we coordinate contractors and suppliers on your behalf from design sign-off through to final handover.

Does Aces Design Studio handle contractors and builders, or just design?

Both. If you’d rather not manage tilers, electricians, and carpenters yourself, our turnkey project management service covers the whole process, including sourcing and coordinating tradespeople.

Can I hire Aces Design Studio for just one room?

Yes. We offer single-room consultations and design packages as well as full property projects, so you can start small if that suits your budget or needs better.

What does the design process actually look like?

It starts with a conversation about how you use the space, what’s working and what isn’t. From there we develop a concept and material palette, produce 2D floor plans and 3D renders so you can see the space before construction starts, and finalise technical drawings, including electrical and lighting plans, before any work begins.

Do you provide 3D renders before construction starts?

Yes, photorealistic 3D renders are part of our standard process for most projects, so you can see and approve the finished look before a single wall is touched.

How much does an interior design project cost?

Cost depends on the size of the space, the scope of work, and the materials chosen. We offer a free initial consultation to assess your project and provide an accurate quote, rather than a fixed price that wouldn’t reflect your actual space.

Is the first consultation really free?

Yes, our initial consultation, whether by phone, in person, or through our contact form, is free and doesn’t commit you to anything.

How long does a typical project take?

It depends on scope. A single-room refresh might take a few weeks, while a full office fit-out typically takes around six weeks from initial consultation to final drawings and 3D visuals, and a full home renovation can take several months depending on construction work involved. What can delay a project timeline?

Timelines can shift due to contractor availability, supplier delivery times, permit approvals in older buildings, and how quickly decisions are made on materials or design changes along the way.

Does Aces Design Studio only work in Gżira?

No, Gżira is where our studio is based, but we take on residential and commercial projects across Malta, including Sliema, Msida, St Julian’s, Ta’ Xbiex, and beyond.

Do you work on commercial and office spaces, or only homes?

Both. Alongside residential projects, we design offices, retail shops, clinics, cafes, and hospitality spaces, planned around staff workflow and customer flow, not just aesthetics.

Do you take on smaller commercial projects, like a single shop or kiosk?

Yes, we’ve worked on projects ranging from full villas and offices down to individual retail units and kiosks. Project size isn’t a barrier to working with us.

For most projects, yes. A site visit lets us give you an accurate design plan and quote rather than an estimate based on photos or a description alone.

H3: What should I prepare before my first consultation?

It helps to have a rough idea of your budget, any inspiration images or Pinterest boards you like, and a sense of how you actually use the space day to day. You don’t need floor plans or technical detail ready, that’s part of what we help with.
